Their presence is thought to bring positive energy into one’s life - the Kingfisher represents abundance, communication, love and strength; a truly resilient bird recognised for their ability to navigate life’s challenges with grace and determination.
As a counsellor, my role is to provide space and guidance to help you on your journey of self-discovery; to enable you to examine your life and make new, meaningful choices.
Hello, I’m Abby, a fully qualified Integrative therapeutic counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am also an experienced bereavement counsellor, having provided support to patients, caregivers and bereaved families within a hospice environment.
Throughout my life I have faced many challenges, and for me, therapy has been highly effective as a tool for self-awareness, personal growth and how I relate to others in relationships. This increased self-awareness is what propelled me towards my own training to become a counsellor.
I am passionate about what I do and always place you, the client, at the centre of our work together. I don’t make assumptions, but support you on your journey of self-discovery and growth.
It always feels like an absolute honour and privilege to witness the transformative change within clients; an experience I find deeply rewarding.
